Welcome to MiaUmbria!

MiaUmbria is a platform dedicated to helping people discover real events in Umbria through an interactive map.

You can publish direct links to events quickly and without registration.

✅ What is Allowed

  • Real events taking place in Umbria (or strongly connected to the region), including:
    • Concerts, festivals, sagre, markets, exhibitions, workshops
    • Sports events, cultural activities, gastronomic events, hikes, wine tastings, and similar
  • Commercial and ticketed events are welcome
  • Links to official event pages or organizer websites that provide clear event information (date, location, description)
  • Links to posts and event pages on social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram), when they clearly refer to a real event in Umbria

❌ What is NOT Allowed

  • Political campaigning, rallies, propaganda, or politically motivated events
  • Links to messengers (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, etc.)
  • Link shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.)
  • Links must lead directly to the event page. Links that redirect multiple times or obscure the final destination may be removed
  • Generic social media profile or personal page links that do not point to a specific post or event (except official pages of recurring events)
  • Advertising or spam without a real associated event
  • Events outside Umbria with no clear connection to the region
  • Adult, illegal, or harmful content
  • We may restrict controversial or sensitive events

Important Rules

  • Public access: Links must be publicly accessible without requiring login, registration, or payment to view basic event details.
  • Link quality: The linked page should contain sufficient event information (date, location, description). Pure ticket-checkout pages with little or no event context may be rejected or removed.
  • The event must be real and upcoming (or currently happening) with accurate title, date, location, and description.
  • Only one publication per event. We check URLs and may use duplicate detection to keep the map clean and useful.
  • All submissions are reviewed. We may remove or reject links that do not follow these rules.

By publishing an event, you confirm that you have the right to share the link and that the content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

Consequences

Links that violate these rules may be removed.
Repeated violations may result in your IP address being temporarily or permanently blocked from future submissions.

When submitting an event, you must agree to these rules.
